Ogie Alcasid’s songwriting credentials were put on display when he released the album mga kwento ng pag-ibig almost 20 years ago. Here, the singer songwriter dished out fifteen songs, all written by himself. A massive creative output, indeed.

Bannered by the romantic ballad “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala,” this album is Ogie Alcasid at his best.

The album, with all its 15 songs, is being re-released by Viva Records.

“Dahil Ikaw Pa rin”

Multi-talented act Stef Monce is a singer, lyric writer and host and she makes her music debut under OC Records with the wistful and yearning “Dahil Ikaw Pa Rin.”

This mid-tempo ballad starts out slow but eventually builds to a rocking crescendo, all the while Stef Monce rides the ebb and swells with her emotive singing.

“Kapeng Malamig”
Jin Chan

Songwriter Jin Chan makes his singing debut as a WAYBETTR artist with the R&B sounding, mid-tempo track titled “Kapeng Malamig.”

According to Jin, “Kapeng Malamig” is a song about two potential lovers finding comfort in each other’s company through sharing cups of coffee.

Throughout a tension-filled night, the cups of coffee inevitably grow cold as the two find warmth in each other.

Saint produced this sexy, vibe-y song for Jin Chan.

“Larawan”
The 12/21

Pop rock band The 12/21 dabbles in pop punk sounds with their surging new single, “Larawan,” which is about “meeting someone and falling in love with them unexpectedly.”

The 12/21—composed of Maceda siblings Roman (vocals/guitar), Rico (bass/vocals) and Roque (drums/vocals)—writes, performs, and produces this track with Blacksheep Records’ Jaworski Garcia.

Mayonaisse’s Monty Macalino lends hand in the mastering.

“Sheltered”
Black Wolf Gypsies

Blacksheep Records Manila’s Black Wolf Gypsies is a Pinoy blues rock band that delivers electrifying rock and roll and that much is evident on their single “Sheltered.”

Blues-tinged guitar solos drive and push this song as BWG lays down their brand of classic rock.
