After months of giving viewers inspiration and good vibes, GMA Network and Quantum Films’ primetime series What We Could Be airs its final episode this Thursday (October 27).

Bannered by the country’s sought-after and talented stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, and Yasser Marta, What We Could Be fulfills its promise to give Kapuso viewers a feel-good love story mixed with a pint of family drama to entertain and shape the way the viewers see life.

Miguel shared his takeaways on playing the role of Franco.

“Na-realize ko kung gaano ka-importante maging totoo sa sarili lalo na sa ating nararamdaman. We also have to do what’s right and we shouldn’t live in a world full of lies and hatred. Marami kasi ang p’wede natin masaktan especially those we love.

“Unlike Franco, I’m really close to my family,” Miguel went on comparing himself to his character in the show. “And I am given enough freedom to enjoy. So it must have been really hard kay Franco na dinidiktahan siya ng mom niya especially in his choice to love Cynthia (Ysabel Ortega). The role made me appreciate my family and friends even more.”

Ysabel, for her part, said: “I love my role so much and I loved playing Cynthia because of how bubbly she is as a person. But at the same time, na-challenge ako sa role na ito. It made me look forward to working every time. I feel like her positive outcome in life taught me a lot, and it also influenced me to have the same mindset.”

Meanwhile, Yasser, who plays the third wheel Lucas, shared the things he will miss the most in doing the show.

“The camaraderie ng cast kasi para na kaming magba-barkada at nag-e-enjoy lang kami sa set. Mami-miss ko ang buong show especially the whole cast. What I have learned naman from my character, Lucas, is acceptance in life. In order to move on, kailangan natin tanggapin ang mga situation na hindi para sa atin para eventually ay mas magiging masaya tayo.”

As the series ends this tomorow, Cynthia furiously confronts Franco about the planned demolition of Bahay ni Onor. Is there still a chance for them to get together and fix their broken relationship?

What We Could Be also stars Mr. Soliman Cruz, Aleck Bovick, Pamela Prinster, Hailey Mendes, Lia Salvador, Bimbo Bautista, EJ Jallorina, Joel Saracho, Art Acuña, Vince Crisostomo, Joyce Ann Burton, and Ms. Celeste Legaspi.

Catch the gripping finale of What We Could Be on October 27, 9:35 PM, after Start-Up PH on GMA Telebabad.
