Nick was already 22 when Neil was interviewed for a "hot seat" challenge on the show back in 2015. Neil, who was 42 at that time, was asked who his celebrity crush was and he answered "Nick Jonas".
 Neil explained that he had a crush on Nick back in 2005 when The Jonas Brothers were gaining popularity before the birth of social media. Nick was only 13 years old at that time and Neil was 32.

Nick was already 22 when Neil was interviewed for a “hot seat” challenge on the show back in 2015. Neil, who was 42 at that time, was asked who his celebrity crush was and he answered “Nick Jonas”.

Neil explained that he had a crush on Nick back in 2005 when The Jonas Brothers were gaining popularity before the birth of social media. Nick was only 13 years old at that time and Neil was 32.

Neil further explained on the show: “And he was really good-looking before it was kind of allowed to think he was good-looking. Which was a bit of a problem, you kind of had to wait ’til he turned to be, y’know… 19, 20, you’re like: ‘What is happening?’”

The video was shared alongside the caption: “How do celebs get away with comments like this? He was 42 here.”

And it didn’t take long for the TikTok to gain momentum, with many people flocking to the comment section to share their shock at what the now 49-year old former Doogie Howser M.D. star had said.

“This is completely inappropriate,” one person wrote. Another added: “He’s always been problematic.”

Someone else echoed: “That’s disgusting 🤢” and one more commented: “I love his characters but him as a person… yikes.”

Anyway, Nick hasn’t commented on this issue because he was celebrating Diwali with wife Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and their precious 9-month old baby girl, Malti.

The now 30-year old singer shared photos on Instagram of their celebration in Los Angeles with Baby Malti’s face concealed in a heart emoji. 

Jonas captioned: “Such a beautiful Diwali celebration with my ♥. Happy Diwali everyone. Sending joy and light to you all. #diwali”

In the first photo, Jonas holds baby Malti up for the picture as she wears a beige-colored dress that matches the same print as her mom’s outfit. The little girl also wears an adorable white floral headband.

A second photo shows 40-year old Chopra, sitting down with Malti in her lap as her daughter wraps her hand around Jonas’s finger. 

Baby Malti was born in January and spent her first 100-plus days in neonatal intensive care unit before joining his loving parents.

Diwali, also known as the “Festival of Lights,” is recognized as India’s biggest holiday and takes place over the course of five days.

The festival occurs annually each autumn, often falling in either October or November depending on the moon. Diwali is celebrated primarily by Hindus but has become a national festival over the centuries.
