Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla joins ALLTV, says it’s the “easiest decision” she has ever made

The versatile television host, endorser, and commercial model, Mariel Rodriquez-Padilla, is now with ALLTV, the premiere TV station of Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) which is under the Prime Assets Ventures, Inc. led by Manuel Paolo Villar.

AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino said Mariel will make ALLTV viewing more exciting as she takes her role as TV host and actress to a new level.

“Mariel will surely add more fun, and entertainment that every viewer, especially moms, can relate to. We are looking forward to working with you, Mariel. Welcome to your new ALLTV family,” she said during the contract signing at Mella Hotel yesterday, September 8.

Also present during the contract signing were Padilla’s talent manager and talk-show host, Boy Abunda, AMBS CFO Maryknoll Zamora, and AMBS general counsel Atty. TJ Mendoza.

“Thank you so much to ALLTV.  I am so excited for the many possibilities. Like what Ms. Beth said, ‘Let’s make a beautiful show. Let us make our viewers happy’,” Mariel said, quoting Tolentino.  “All I want to do is make people happy.”

On her Instagram post that same day, Mariel said that joining ALLTV was the “easiest decision” she has ever made. And that she can’t wait to start the ball rolling.

Abunda, who discovered Mariel before she became a TV personality, is excited about the “infinite possibilities” that’s in store for Mariel at ALLTV.   

Mariel started her career at the age of 15 as a commercial model. She is married to actor-turned-politician, Sen. Robinhood Padilla. They have two daughters, Maria Isabella and Maria Gabriella.

Apart from Mariel, ALLTV’s growing list of celebrity contract stars includes TV host, singer, and comedian Willie Revillame, the country’s multi-media star and actress Toni Gonzaga and her husband, multi-awarded director/script writer/producer Paul Soriano; broadcaster Anthony Taberna, and accomplished theatre and movie actress, Ciara Sotto.

ALLTV has also teamed up with CNN Philippines for the airing of its flagship news program, News Night, at 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

ALLTV airs on Sept. 13. It is available on Channel 2 on free-to-air TV and Planet Cable, Channel 16 on digital TV, and Channel 35 on Cignal TV and Sky Cable.

Love at the End of the World star Nico Locco signs up with the Viva Artists Agency

His most recent work, the BL movie Love at the End of the World, was screened on Vivamax Plus. Nico Locco, Nicholas Timothy Fowler offcam, is an Italian-Canadian international model, actor, and host, currently living in the Philippines. He is known for the 2019 movie Sabado where he became the first foreigner to win a Best Actor in the Gawad Sining Awards and the first foreigner to win the award in a Philippine-based film competition.
