Guji Lorenzana: “On June 3, 2018, my mom insisted that we’d all go to church together, after being pretty much immobile for a couple of weeks. Little did we know that this burst of energy was going to be the last. And less than 2 weeks later, you would take your last breath on June 15th, 2018. In the first photo you sit in your wheelchair for your last mass with us. And in the last photo, in that very same spot, we as a family would say our goodbyes before closing your casket. I miss you mom, not only today, but every second. I wish you could have seen how much I’ve grown as a man. And I wish my girls, your grandchildren, could have met you. You would have loved them so much.”
