The Jericho Rosales-Anne Curtis starrer, Baler, is now on I HEART Movies channel


Baler follows the fictional love story of Celso Resurrección (Jericho Rosales), a Spanish Mestizo soldier, and Feliza Reyes (Anne Curtis), a local maiden and daughter of a Katipunero, that’s been interwoven into the real-life figures and historical events of the year-long siege of the Baler town in Aurora, Quezon in 1898.

As part of the GMA Network and Viva Entertainment collab, Viva shares its archive of old film classics to GMA’s other free-to-air channels, GTV and I HEART Movies

Come June 24 and 25, Viva Films’ 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Baler, will be available for viewing on the I HEART Movies channel.

Baler, the first and last movie team up so far of Jericho and Anne, also starred Philip Salvador, Andrew Schimmer, Joel Torre, Carlo Aquino, and many more. Directed by Mark Meily, it’s the most awarded movie in the subsequent 2008 MMFF Awards Night, including a best actress for Anne Curtis.

Its I HEART Movies airing schedules are as follow:

* June 24 (Friday)—on Pinoy Movie Date at 8:00 PM

* June 25 (Saturday)—on Pinoy Movie Date at 10:00 AM

* June 25 (Saturday)—on Pinoy Movie Date at 4:00PM.
