In this week’s offering, Viva Music hands us over six talented acts—a band, a duo, and four solos—dishing out music we can all relate to.

“Lunatiko” by Jom & Crakky

ALLMO$T rapper Crakky and hook singer Jom weave an electro pop track in their brand-new collaboration called “Lunatiko.” Popping beats, basslines, and moody synths, Crakky and Jom couple that with a powerful delivery that drives their message on point—that love can drive us crazy.

“Sana Naman” by Valfer

Yearning is the mood that Valfer is putting across on his latest single titled “Sana Naman.” This slow groove number frames Valfer’s emotional side as he sings about finding answers from a former flame. And Valfer’s painful delivery maybe attributed to the fact that the songs was inspired by his own experience.

Hiphop ace Curseboxx produced this track for Valfer.

“Do Not Disturb” by Schumi

The Lo-fi and moody “Do Not Disturb” is the slow grinding new bop from Schumi. It’s all about sexy vibes in this mid-tempo D.I.Y. track from the “Bakit Why Not?” singer-songwriter.

“Ba’t Ako Umaasa” by BADJII

Blacksheep Records Manila artist BADJII is not your conventional pop music act. BADJII (Alvin John Cabalonga) seems to tread the lines between pop and alternative which is very evident in his original single “Ba’t Ako Umaasa.”

And he even throws in some trap beats that one usually gets from Hiphop.

All these combined makes for a real unique listening experience.

“Mata sa Mata” by 7th

“Mata Sa Mata” is a mid-tempo, pop rock ballad by the OC Records alt-pop band 7TH.

The song is about wishing that the other person will reciprocate the admiration being sent their way. But in 7TH’s world, it’s not that easy. Thus, the yearning feels of this emo number.
