Matteo Guidicelli, nagtapos na sa kanyang VIP Protection Course para maging kasapi ng Presidential Security Group

As an army reservist, hinihimok ni Matteo Guidicelli ang mga kabataan na maging sundalo o reservist para makapag-serbisyo umano sa bayan. “Ine-ecourage ko po lahat ng kabataan, mga kababayan po natin, kung gusto n’yo po maging sundalo, maging reserve…this is, kumbaga, service to our country, ’no? A way of giving back and protecting our country and being of service to our country.”
Ang Presidential Security Group o PSG ang elite force na nangangalaga sa seguridad ng pangulo ng Pilipinas at ng first family.
At matapos nga ang dalawang buwan nang maigting na training ay natapos ni Matteo ang kurso.
Sa kanyang Facebook kahapon, October 24, nagpasalamat ang aktor sa kanyang pamilya at mga kaibigan na nagpakita sa kanya ng suporta.
“Thank you to my family and friends. It was an honor to train with the best from the PSG. #forza #129,” pahayag ni Matteo sa kanyang FB post kalakip ang series of photos na kinunan sa kanilang closing ceremony na idinaos sa Malacanang Park sa Maynila.
Present sa okasyong iyon ang supportive n’yang misis na si Sarah Geronimo at ang brother n’yang si Paolo.
Sa interview sa kanya ng media, muling nagpasalamat ang Viva actor sa PSG sa pagtanggap sa kanya sa kanilang training program.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank the whole Presidential Security Group for welcoming me in this program, VIP Protection Course. Kumbaga, the individuals here in the course was chosen, e, from different branch of service,” lahad ni Matteo sa panayam n’ya with RTVM.
Isang karangalan daw para sa kanya ang mapabilang sa Presidential Security Group.
“I feel very honored and privileged to be part of the PSG. The men and women here have their own stories of valor, stories of patriotism, stories of services,” pagbibida n’ya.
“Talagang nakaka-humble, nakaka-bless na kasama ako dito sa mga individuals na ito and I learned so much from each and every one of them…not just how to protect the VIP but I learned so much about myself also in this course,” pagpapatuloy ni Matteo.
“Talagang napakagaling, napakaganda ng course na ito. The main objective is to protect and secure, of course, the first family, the president, and other foreign dignitaries here in the PSG.”
Nagbigay din s’ya ng mensahe ng pasasalamat sa lahat ng kasapi ng PSG sa serbisyo nila sa bansa.
“Unang-una, sa lahat po ng PSG, maraming maraming salamat po sa serbiyso. Sa lahat ng branches of service, sa mga sundalo, people in uniform, men and women in uniform, thank you very much for your service and thank you very much for what you do for our beautiful country. Maraming salamat po,” he said.
Hinimok rin ng army reservist ang mga kabataan na maging sundalo o reservist para makapag-serbisyo sa bayan.
